Decorated with the lovable Star Fluted Christmas pattern, this étagère makes for a joyous addition to the Christmas table. The two-layer étagère is adorned by wreaths of spruce and classic Christmas ornaments, while the edges are lined with gold. Adding a touch of Christmas romance, the étagère can be moved around using the heart-shaped gold handle. Nothing encapsulates the spirit of the holidays quite like gathering around the table for cozy moments of joy and togetherness. This is where the beloved Christmas dinner service from Royal Copenhagen has come to life and become a part of many holiday traditions. The festive wreaths of spruce bordering the plates, bowls and cups are adorned with silk ribbon bows and Christmas decorations, creating a rich and elegant service, which is the perfect background for all your joyful holiday meals.
Refined and hand-crafted Danish porcelain from Royal Copenhagen is as modern in style as it is rooted in history.  For close to 250 years, the traditional artwork of Royal Copenhagen's Danish porcelain has been beloved globally.
When Dowager Queen Julianne Marie set out to safeguard her country’s economy by developing domestic products and services, she became curious about using local raw materials to improve local living conditions.  As monarch, she founded the Royal Porcelain Factory in 1775, now known as the prize-winning Royal Copenhagen.
Every piece produced is identifiable by its factory marks suggested by the Dowager Queen: three blue waves that symbolize Denmark’s three main waterways, the Sound, the Great Belt, and the Little Belt.  The Royal Crown marks the porcelain's royal connection.  The unique artistry and skilled craftsmanship highlighted in each piece show in the dedicated details that only a few can master.  Fine brush strokes and the highest quality glazing contribute to making each piece of Royal Copenhagen a functional masterpiece.
